In Memoriam: Brian Linstrom

Many Miles - A Brighter Community - A Lasting Impact

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Brian Linstrom, our longtime RSVP volunteer driver, who had been part of our RSVP family since 2018.

For the past eight years, Brian was a familiar and valued part of RSVP. He drove for us every Monday and Tuesday and was always willing to step in on other days whenever we needed him. He brought so much laughter to our clients and treated everyone he served with genuine kindness, patience, and compassion.

Brian’s connection to RSVP went far beyond the miles he drove. He was someone who would regularly come into the office just to talk with staff, share a story, make us laugh, and brighten our day. He took the time to get to know everyone around him, and over the years, he became much more than a volunteer. Brian was family to all of us.

He was also always willing to help wherever he was needed. Whether it was taking an extra drive, helping one of our clients, or volunteering at special events such as our annual 4th of July fundraiser, we knew we could count on Brian.

We will miss seeing Brian walk through our office doors, hearing his stories and laughter, and knowing he was out on the road caring for our clients. His kindness and compassion made a difference in the lives of so many people, including our staff.

We are incredibly grateful that Brian chose to spend so many years serving alongside us. We will cherish the friendship, laughter, compassion, and memories he shared with RSVP. Brian will be deeply missed and will always hold a special place in our RSVP family.

Our thoughts are with Brian’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.

~ Brian will be missed by all the hearts he touched ~
