Sometimes, making a difference starts with something simple: a ride to a doctor\u2019s appointment, a friendly phone call, or a visit that reminds someone they are not alone. At Nevada Rural Counties RSVP Program, Inc., these small acts of kindness make a big difference in the lives of seniors across rural Nevada.<\/p>\n

I recently joined Lori Gilbert on KELK\u2019s Wellness Wednesday to share how RSVP supports older adults and how more community members can get involved. Helping seniors stay independent. Companionship Makes a Difference:<\/strong> Volunteers who visit seniors at home or call them by phone can ease loneliness and build meaningful connections.<\/p>\n

Everyone Can Help:<\/strong> Community members can make a difference by volunteering, supporting RSVP programs, and sharing the organization\u2019s mission with others.<\/p>\n
